e-Learning in a Box™ is a complete
authoring
and Learning
Management System (LMS) for on-line training. e-Learning
in a Box™ is effective, reduces the amount of money
you spend on training and employees spend away from productive work.
e-learning
Authoring Technology e-Learning in a
Box™ utilizes KnowledgeXtensions, Inc’s proprietary
software to allow for easy content creation in MS Word®. KBridge™
is an authoring tool that integrates with MS Word®‚ allowing
you and your content providers to create and maintain content
in a familiar setting. Training created and inserted into a Word®
document, including text, graphics, animation, video and other
media, is seamlessly integrated into an XML knowledge base. The
‘bridge’ is provided from the Word® document through this
automated upload and creation of the XML knowledge base. All the
author needs to do is click on a button: KBridge™ allows
authors and subject matter experts to begin building e-learning
environments without help from IT or specialized training. You
can also use MS PowerPoint to author your training.
Track
Training
e-Learning in a Box™ includes
a Learning Management System (LMS) which allows you to
keep track of your employees progress and all assessment results.
This system allows you to generate reports on, for example, specific
courses or training exercises. You can also learn about the progress
of specific employees: what training they are taking; how far
into the training they have progressed; how they are doing on
assessments, etc...
Deploy
Training
After you upload your document, e-Learning
in a Box™ inserts it into your XML database, creating
training in HTML format ready for delivery to your employees.
Employees open up their browsers, accessing the training as easily
as accessing any web pages on the internet. Employees can take
tests or other assessment exercises to help them judge their progress
and understanding, and they receive certificates for completed
courses. They also have the training available 24/7 for reference
or for support while performing their jobs.
Investment in IT infrastructure
You have invested time and (lots of) money in technology: all your
employees have computers, the whole company is connectivity to
the web, you may have an intranet, firewalls and the newest software
installed. Why not put it to good use? Taking advantage of your
investments by using it to improve your employee training makes
great economic sense.
e-Learning On Demand
Do you need to update a financial chart in your training presentation
and get it to your employees ASAP? It’s easy with e-Learning
in a Box™. That’s because you or your subject matter
experts control the training and make updates that are received
instantaneously by your employees. No need for IT interference –
a direct line from the provider of information to the receiver.
